BEYOND has always been about expanding artistic boundaries through choreographic opportunities and new work. While BEYOND will continue to be a platform for our Advanced Division to create and present their own choreography, we are thrilled to expand this year to offer a third performance opportunity to our younger students. This season, our young dancers will be showcasing the work they have accomplished throughout the year. We celebrate all growth, creatively and technically. Come go BEYOND with us! 

History

In 2005, the Youth Choreography Project (YCP) was founded.  It was developed as an Artist Enrichment & Development program that gave young artists of LGB School the opportunity to explore choreographic, leadership and mentorship opportunities.  Due to the success of the program, the YCP was expanded and emerged as BEYOND.  It continues to be an essential program that ensures the support and development of our local artists and dance community.

Emerging Choreographer Program

The Emerging Choreographer Program was developed to support and advance our current and next generation of artists.  Those who demonstrate a love and exceptional skill for choreography are selected by the Artistic Staff to participate.  The participants are given the opportunity to develop and cultivate choreographic skills and creative processes, showcasing their new works throughout the season.
