Nordica was born in Hong Kong and moved to the United States when she was four. She has trained at Maine State Ballet, Walnut Hill School for the Arts and spent summers studying with ABT, Boston Ballet and performing with the Mad Horse Theatre Company. After attending University of Utah on a ballet scholarship in 2001 she returned to dance for the Maine State Ballet Company as a soloist, performing featured roles in such ballets as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Serenade, Sleeping Beauty, Western Symphony and George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker.

After graduating from USM with a BA in Media Communications in 2005 she moved to Boston to pursue her collegiate endeavors, working for TV stations and universities, gaining knowledge in event coordination and client services.

Passionate about returning to the world of dance, in 2007 she joined the faculty of Jose Mateo’s Ballet Theatre in Cambridge. She relocated to the San Jose area in 2015 and is delighted to have found a home at Los Gatos Ballet and looks forward to providing support to the Los Gatos Ballet community.
