This classic fairy tale follows a young woman’s journey from servant to princess in a story cherished by adults and children alike.  The story begins with Cinderella scrubbing the floor while her stepmother and stepsisters ridicule and mock her.  An invitation to the Prince’s royal ball is delivered, but Cinderella’s dreams of attending quickly fade after she is told she cannot attend.  After the others depart for the ball, Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother appears and transforms her rags into a beautiful gown so she may attend the ball.  Cinderella arrives at the ball and catches the attention of all, especially the Prince. They dance the night away until the clock chimes midnight, when Cinderella flees and leaves her sparkling shoe.  The Prince searches for the owner of the shoe and finally is reunited with his love.  Pageantry and humor, magnificent dancing, and fairytale magic make this ballet one to remember!
