Ballet Faculty

 

Tracy, originally from Denver, Colorado has been dancing professionally since she was 17 and teaching ballet for nine years. Tracy is passionate about teaching and is continually inspired by her students. While at Colorado Ballet she was given the opportunity to shadow master teachers and attend many pedagogy trainings. Her own training took place at Colorado Ballet Academy, Boston Ballet, Classic Dance Academy and Colorado School of Dance. She danced in Colorado Ballet’s Studio Company for three seasons where she had the opportunity to dance in many productions like Swan LakeThe Nutcracker, George Balanchine’s Serenade and more. Tracy spent three years in Eugene, Oregon where she taught at Oregon Ballet Academy and Junction City School of Dance as well as danced in many shows with Ballet Fantastique as a Soloist. Tracy joined San Jose Dance Theater in 2020. While at SJDT she had the opportunity to perform as Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker and many new works by Michael Pappalardo, Mark Foehringer and Linda Hurkmans. She has also had the opportunity to perform with Opera San Jose in Dido and Aeneas and West Side Story.  She is currently freelancing in the Bay Area and working with eMotion Arts, Peninsula Ballet Theater and Mark Foehringer Dance Project San Francisco.
